Tomas Friend, Ph.D. has been a patent agent registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) since 2003. He has owned and operated businesses in the U.S. and Sweden, was a corporate I.P. manager, and worked as a patent examiner with the USPTO specializing in combinatorial technologies. Over a decade of research and university teaching experience helps him grasp complex inventions quickly and write coherent and concise patent applications and arguments targeted for patent examiners and judges.
